What happens in a counselling session?

Most of us will experience a time in our lives when we feel stuck, have lost our way, question the point and purpose to our existence, struggle with past experiences, find it hard to maintain relationships, struggle with stress or become overwhelmed by life events. My approach is rooted in the understanding that every person is unique and needs support in different ways, so I take the time to listen to what is important to you, to create a bespoke therapy suited to your individual needs. Your counselling session is your space to explore what feels important, identify your negative thoughts or limiting beliefs holding you back and find hope again.

How much will it cost?

50 minute standard sessions are £50

15 minute consultation sessions are free.

I offer a reduced rate of £40 for student counsellors who require personal therapy as part of their course. All fees must be paid in advance before the session via bank transfer, PayPal or cash.

Where will my sessions be held?

I am currently working online or on the telephone only so I am available to clients all over the world. Our online sessions are held on Zoom and Whereby so they can be taken wherever feels safe and comfortable for you.

When will my sessions be?

I currently offer early morning, daytime and evening appointments.

Typically, you will have a weekly or bi-weekly slot on the same day and time. I do understand that life happens and some clients may require additional flexibility in scheduling sessions, so this can be discussed further during our inital call.

Are you a member of a professional body?

Yes I am a fully qualified, insured and registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I work within their ethical framework. You can find out more about the BACP here.
